In this role, I served as a Moodle Administrator, leading the migration of the organization's website from an outdated LMS platform to a new Moodle instance. Working closely with my team, I completed the entire migration within a tight timeframe, from February 1 to February 9, 2024.
My responsibilities included executing a full Moodle-to-Moodle migration, covering users, courses, and course backups and restoration, while ensuring all data was transferred to the new platform with zero data loss. I also conducted comprehensive post-migration testing to verify data integrity across the system, and successfully migrated all courses from the old LMS to the new platform, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition for all users.

In this role, I served as a Senior Moodle Administrator, responsible for the platform's technical health, visual design, and overall performance. I led theme customization efforts by designing and building a custom login form and home page to enhance the platform's branding and user experience. On the administrative side, I proactively resolved security issues, managed system status checks, and monitored performance to ensure the platform ran smoothly at all times.
I configured and maintained the Moodle Cron job for reliable scheduled task execution, and added missing translation strings for the Edwiser Report Plugin to improve localization coverage. A key highlight of this role was successfully upgrading the Dev, Staging, and Live environments from Moodle 4.1 to Moodle 4.5 LTS, ensuring the platform stayed current, secure, and fully supported.
I also redesigned the course page by restructuring the layout for better usability and customizing the course drawer, contributing to a more intuitive and engaging experience for end users across the platform.

A major milestone in this project was upgrading the Dev, Staging, and Live environments from Moodle 3.9.5 to Moodle 4.5, which required extensive testing given the multiple custom plugins integrated into the site. I conducted thorough post-upgrade testing, including SMTP email verification on the Staging environment, to ensure platform stability, and carried out ongoing website review and maintenance on a regular schedule to keep the system running smoothly.

Key work included plugin installation and setup, basic branding, and designing and configuring the LMS dashboard, along with setting up the Training Course structure and SMTP email configuration. I created detailed documentation for Students, Teachers, and Managers, and implemented multi-language support along with custom user roles to suit the platform's diverse user base. I also configured BigBlueButton for virtual classroom sessions and delivered a complete training session to the client and their team via online meetings, ensuring they were fully equipped to use Moodle effectively going forward.

Key work included creating and configuring courses on the LMS, setting up SMTP email configuration, and configuring and customizing the platform dashboard. I built custom Login and Signup forms using Mustache templating, and customized the LMS home page to align with the platform's branding. I also set up and integrated a payment method and configured enrollment methods to support a smooth and seamless user onboarding experience.
